Update: I've found that I can print using the USB cable, which means that when I want to print something I have to unplug the laptop, move it to where the printer is, plug in the USB cable and print the document.

I'm not sure how the company manages to define this as a "wireless connection"...

You need to install it on a ley line, on the night of the full moon

Afternoon Aldi trek revealed changing times. Initially it was to also planned to drop off used coffee pods at a corner shop but now it seems to be Asda to accomplish that.
In Aldi I could not see any of the larger boxed sugar free sweets and checking their web site subsequently transpires they are now plastic bagged and high in sugar

I've bought a printer after many months of procrastination.

To my complete lack of surprise, it won't connect through the wireless connection. I am not surprised because in my experience they never do. This raises the question of why they are sold as "wireless connected devices"?

It might be a case that you cannot influence the parties involved to talk to each other.

How far is the printer from the router? I have a Roku that will not connect unless a wifi extender is switched on.

It's been a bright, sunny and reasonably mild day here chez Casa Reynard after a very frosty start.

Did not sleep well, a combo of brain not switching off and me not being quite warm enough. I think I shall have to put that extra blanket back on the bed until, according to the forecast, the middle of next week.

The morning was spent doing chores, including disinfecting the first batch of cookware prior to washing it. I also made a batch of apple sauce, as I had some cooking apples that were in danger of developing some language skills.

Had a lovely luncheon of sourdough toast, marinated anchovies, buffalo mozzarella, plus some fruit and a :cuppa:

Re-stocked wood in the house, and then dusted off Max the MTB, pumped up his tyres, and took myself of for an hour's worth of bicycular bimbulation around the local droves. Basically a nice loop to Pymoor via O Furlong, and thence back home via the railway sidings and fishing lakes. First time out since Christmas, and goodness, I really needed that.

And I enjoyed it too. Saw a female sparrowhawk perched on top of a hedge, a barn owl hunting over the fields, loads of pheasants, a great egret (something of a rarity in the UK), and a bevvy of whooper and bewick swans. Also loads of snowdrops, daffs are starting to flower, as is blackthorn and the stand of pussy willow down O Furlong is covered in catkins.

Was a bit chilly though, should've taken full winter gloves. Anyways, now sat by the fire with a :cuppa: and am watching Man City v Plymouth in the FA Cup.

The laptop, printer and Wifi are all within two metres of each other.

Does it have an option of setting up by pressing the WPS button on your router?
Try setting up the printer with the laptop either switched off or in airline mode in cadr that is "eating" too much of the wifi signal, my HP laptop until a recent up date would kill the signal to some other wifi devices.
