For perhaps the 6th time, I've asked our 8yo grand daughter to brush her teeth.
I'm just brushing my hair
I'm just wetting the brush (twice)
I'm still brushing my hair

And so it goes on, 15 minutes later....she still hasn't brushed her teeth.

She will, she's not deliberately avoiding it...just an 8yo's mind is scattered it seems 😀

our new cat comes to the bathroom in the morning & evenings. she jumps up on the double vanity & I wipe her face w/ a wet washcloth & brush her teeth w/ an old toothbrush, wet w/o any product. she seems to like being included in what the pack is doing. maybe include her when you do it, so it's a brush, brush, wash party?

I've just spent the entire morning convinced it was Saturday. It took a WhatsApp message from Antigua to put me right on that. My week is still going to have 2 Saturday mornings, no matter what.

Postie turned up with yesterdays parcel. Weather forecast at some point corrected itself from a high of 7 to one of 5. Dull and rain giving way just to feeling damp in the air.
Waitose shopped after a blood test. App offers changed again, now pick as many as you like but for once no cottage pie nor milk listed.

A very up market narrow boat I hired some years ago had stern and bow thrusters which enabled you to move the boat sideways into narrow spaces A fortnights holiday I never did get the hang of them. So usually moored i spaces that’ll could easily go into bow or stern first.
