Got about an hour to wait before we set off for the hospital. I think our usual route is blocked so we will go via Corsham on the A4.

Very slippy this morning so gave the gym a miss again. So just finished a work out at home that will keep me going. Till I can make it gym in one piece. Now the suns out and the temp is just a few degrees above freezing. Time to take a steady walk into town. Should be able to keep off the worse bits.

Another hospital visit this morning for a check up and re-bandage. Unfortunately there's no taxis operating due to icy conditions.

Last week I walked the two miles from the hospital but it's too icy to walk it so I had to drive. Carefully.

Added 1000 steps while clearing the snow from the drive. Postie arrived & commented we'd seen the last of it for today. I'd like to think so, but radar shows more precip on the way.

Had a blood test this morning after having my Cholesterol medication changed. Be interesting to see if it’s got me from border line.Cut down on the amount of cheese I eat more fish chicken.Still have the occasional stake and kidney pie but i do remove som of the pastry and increase the veg.

20 miles on zwift this morning to make up the lost ride time from not commuting with the icy weather, probably more beneficial than 2 shorter work rides as im getting a better training effect ( i hope ) .
I had set all my kit of for the ride to work when mrs ck told me to take the car and i am realizing she right as i dont bounce like i used to.

In ASDA today and directly under a BIG banner proclaiming 'We support British Growers' were radishes from Morocco & Spring onions from Egypt, among other produce from equally exotic climes.
Clearly someone is missing the point.

So trying to get into town went well I made it up the street and started to walk along the main road. It's so compacted and smooth as anything I made a decision , so back tracked and went to Tescos. I don't bounce like I did and it's not worth it I can wear my yak tracks but they don't go well on shiny shop floors. So would need to find a spot to take them off and then back on for walk home.
So made a start on clearing the path and pavement out side from the gate to the top of the garden. We've go the longest bit of pavement in the street. Was I time i'd have cleared even more and there most of the road. But no-one else really bothered to do there little bit so them days have gone. Lucky Mrs 73 is using up last bit of her leave so is off this week. So no need to get the car dug out and help her get up the street.

Same here when it came to clearing masses of fallen beech leaves a few weeks back.
Of the twelve households; at least 25 souls in the court, only three individuals got stuck in, including me and one of them doesn't even live in the court - !
