Anyway on another note i have not left the house,been watching the history of the FA Cup and Flyscout rider riding across America on YouTube and also been asleep on the sofa.Mrs P has been out.I had a busy week being social and i have an even busier week next week.First thing Monday Aldi for a cake,then visit Jack in the afternoon.Tuesday Postmans Christmas Mash at the pub.i have a 09-00 bus to catch as i am doing the table,i am looking forward to that seeing how i missed out last year due to chemo.Wednesday it is lunch with Mrs P then Goosnargh again,plus fish and chips then home oh and not forgetting Tuesday night another meal with church friends yes two dinners on Tuesday.Then a break before family festivities.Oh joy and appiness abounds.

Had a chilly ride today with some ice here and there. My kit included short socks, long socks, knee warmers, tracksuit bottoms, under shorts two base layers, merino jumper, neck tube, beanie, jacket, shoe covers.....An older rider [70-80 approx] coming the other way was bare knee'ed and wearing shorts

A large, disused corn mill dating to the 1840s burned down last night.
It's amazing how listed buildings are prone to catching fire in the middle of the night!

Paste made with a little bit of boiling water, chocolate powder and a wee bit of freshly-grated nutmeg, then pour the cold milk in slowly, stirring well as you go. When mug is full and drink blended, *then* it goes in the microwave.
Makes for a smooth, rich and silky hot chocolate.
