Good morning from a miserably dull, grey, misty & damp Suffolk. Coffee has been had and that's about the only good thing so far today.
Shopping will be done later and possibly a bit of bike fettling/cleaning after a couple of wet rides over the past week.
My bedroom TV did a software update yesterday and it's now got a complete new menu system and TiVo interface which has yet again hidden the sleep timer deep in the system - I'd found a shortcut on the previous version that reduced it to 7 button presses, now it's 25 button presses. And the menu text is so small I either have to wear my glasses or stand close to the TV and set it before getting into bed. When this TV needs replacing, I'm getting one with a dedicated button on the handset.

Been a busy bee this morning, Woodburner taken apart to get at the flue and the Chimney swept then cleaned and 'blackleaded' the stove, reassembled with new firebricks and then chopped some Kindling and refilled the wood basket, sat down with a cuppa now and a fag.
I'll have a small fire tonight just to dry/warm the new bricks (if you have a blaze it can crack the new bricks) so it's ready for Sunday (Maz's birthday)

waiting for some biscuits to come out the oven. Turned on iPlayer turns out Nigel Slater's 12 Tastes of Christmas was playing. 1st thing he's making is the same biscuits i've just been making.
