Grey day, but only raining inside
Haven't felt like this for a while.
The black dog will appear soon. I can almost smell him.
Things, mostly trivia, need doing, no inclination to move.
Get a grip, get your cycling clothes on and get out.
Or back to bed?
Back to bed won.
This looks like being a slow, dark day.
Or will this time be days or weeks, again?
I see absolutely no rhyme, reason or justice to this.
Just have to keep up the public face and suck it up inside.

Why do they think that people like faffing about with all that? Why can't they simplify things?

Steve Jobs hated how TV interfaces work and they must be a better way. He talks to Walter Isaacson about it in his biography wrote in the final months of his life. Hinting that he'd fixed it and came up with a way to do it. Ever since then the Apple rumour mill has been off and on talking of an Apple made TV. Nothing comes of it but you can bet they have some R and D going on as part of the ever growing smart home market. Which they are known to be looking to move into.

Another day completed. Nice evening, cool, fresh, but no frost in evidence.

I did something to my back when taking off my rucksack.:cry:Ever since my accident, it's really been a question of what part of me is going to hurt today.

I'm just making myself some soup at the moment.

When I was walking home from work, I was thinking it was a nice evening for a night ride, but maybe better not in case I make my back worse. It was the first time in a while where the weather was suitable for an evening ride.

Not counting my chickens yet.
Thanks to the suggestion from @classic33 I got straight into CC this time. Not perfect however as there were one or two glitches with the page dropping off and telling me safari could not access it. At one stage the alerts dropped off as well and the whole thing froze.
FB seems to have gone strange now as well.
Not a good day in some respects. The Cullen Skink I made was very nice, at least what I managed to get as the dish slipped as I was taking it out of the Remoska and half of it landed on the floor.
Almighty mess which took ages to clear up.

It's been a grey, cool and slightly damp day here chez Casa Reynard.

Did not sleep well thanks to lady issues. Been feeling like a mardy bag today. The day has been hoovered up in general busyness, sorting shopping, wood, gifts etc.

Popped to Doe's in Littleport, and have acquired a new bar for the chainsaw. The fella on the counter had a damn good laugh about the "cherry tree that ate my saw" thing. Yes, Doe's are more expensive than buying online or elsewhere etc, but they are local, convenient, and I'm not throwing money at P&P or fuel. And if they don't have something in, they'll order it for the next day.

Stopped off at the Post Office on the way home and *finally* have managed to acquire a roll of duck tape. Again, not the cheapest, but it's better than running around like a looney and wasting time & fuel. I have enough to do what needs doing, and then the next time I do a tip run, I'll pop into Screwfix, which is next door, and stock up. It's on occasions like this where I really regret the demise of Wilkinsons.

If it's any consolation @oldwheels, Facebook is playing up here too, and I've not got a new machine - Win 10 laptop here. FB works on Edge, but not on Chrome, which is what I normally use. Namely, I'm logged out and can't log in. So there's probably a gremlin in the system somewhere.

Anyways, cat has been fed, and soon it will be time to feed me.
