I wonder what will happen but thanks for trying @Speicher.

I cannot delete all the duplicated posts across the forum, but as you were stuck I made an exception for you. If cannot post, can you try to "report" your own post, the one with the accidental d word in it. This will be seen by the Moderator Team, not just me.

Office day and the frosty conditions this morning were met with the car boot being emptied. There was no ice scraper readily to hand inside. A thinner than normal one found so an appropriate purchase made at Asda at lunchtime.
The W11 saga seems to be rumbling along as a colleague who had IT fix the issue last Thursday has today had it misbehaving. Awaits next Tuesday with trepidation.
Homeward via car involves a right turn avoided by bike. The road facing has a left turn and straight on with the straight on facing the right turn lane. Had some idiot (most likely a Ripon resident) carry straight on hardly turning to left and stopped only just sufficiently away from me for me to negotiate around them to the left.

Mod Note:
Hi everyone, thanks for reporting the duplicates, far too many now!
CC's owner/IT wizard @Shaun has promised he will solve this at the weekend.
Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience
Meanwhile, if you get an error message when posting, try to close the error window, then refresh the page.
I did this, only the one post was published, victory ^_^

New experience at work today: Tübingen has public bike stands with a place to hang the bike and a selection of simple tools on cables, so people can fix things like punctures. Today I went out with a team to maintain them. The stands are built like tanks to make vandalism difficult, but they aren't very well thought through, so every simple repair takes hours.

Fortunately, the team were used to this, so we dealt with the situation using some industrial strength sarcasm and by royally taking the pish out of each other.

I enjoyed that. One man, one act play. Very well done and acted. Very different to the last adaptation I saw a few years ago. Of course it opens in foggy conditions, pretty much li ke outside tonight.

I am just wondering if anyone has ever written a sequel about what became of Scrooge in his reformed life.

Freezing outside and really foggy. I've stopped off on the way home for a drink by a nice fire. I should have ordered a hot whiskey.

Aye, "A Christmas Carol 2: The Return of Scrooge"
Picks up the story after Scrooge has died.

What will tomorrow bring
Who knows, but I guess it'll be more of the same.

Another day's training completed. An amazing contrast in weather today as it was really icy and foggy this morning when I was walking to work but quite mild and slightly damp when I was walking home.

I've just put in a washing. It's much harder to keep on top of chores when working in the office as I can't be bothered when I get home.
