I've just checked my bank account and BT have finally refunded me for the advance payment for the TV & broadband package I had with them before switching to EE. That should cover the hotel cost for an event I want to attend at Silverstone next year.

So after 3 calls and leaving two answer phone messages I finally got hold of the person I wanted to get hold , just got to see if they do what they say they are going to do later today.

In my own case these would be the only butterflies seen this year apart from a couple of whites ones.

I probably won't buy that particular one. Instead I shall see if I can find my Colin Prior calendar

I thought you would work it out! Calendars from 2014 and 2003 can be used next year.

Tip for the day: If you're going to sort thousands of slides, make sure you mark which ones are rejects and which are to keep.
And if you don't mark them, don't expect to know whether you're coming or going 40 years later.

Nice and relaxing trip up North - the train from Peterborough to Newcastle was 15 minutes late leaving due to a vehicle hitting a bridge, but arrived here on time. Sunny and warm so lunch and a couple of drinks were taken by the river.

Coffee has just been had and a snooze may be in order before heading off to The Cluny.

Unusual weather effect this morning. When I went down to Main St it was fog free but the upper part of town was blanketed with fog. Usually it is the other way round with the top of the town free of fog.

GP visit not what I expected.
She wanted to look in my eyes!
It seems my latest blood tests show liver function a bit low which could mean trouble with my overstuffed gal bladder and lead to jaundice.
This illustrates a problem with the current system of ever rotating doctors and you rarely see the same one twice. The result is they only know what the computer tells them about your recent medical history.
In fact my liver function has been low but unchanging for a considerable time if they look back far enough.
I need more vitamin C apparently but cannot drink orange juice as she suggested due to it being a bit acidic which upsets my hiatus hernia. Cannot win and another penalty of bring ancient.
