Bit breezy round here today, but it meant that in combination with the sunshine the washing got dried nice and quickly. The overnight bag has also been packed and is by the front door ready for when I head to the train station.

Finally got things sorted with EE - after a fashion. For some reason they can't cancel the incorrect separate TV & Broadband accounts they've put me on and replace it with the bundle package that I ordered. Instead I'm having to pay the higher cost each month and they've applied an account credit of around £450 to cover the difference over the next 24 months  Needless to say after half an hour on the phone with them I needed to get out on the bike for some fresh air for about an hour.

Sausage & chips was had for tea.

There is some sense in that I suppose but not sure about recovering better at home. I have too much experience unfortunately and got home mostly without too much delay but just enough to be comfortable. It will also depend on home circumstances.

I suppose they know their patients and assess the risks. After my ankle operation, the nurse told me I was lucky he was sending me home or I'd probably catch something in the hospital.

My Dad was detained for a few days after his hernia operation earlier in the year as he is a risk case due to his chest problems. He caught a vomiting and diarrhoea bug in the hospital and was really ill and my Mum and brother ended up getting it too.

Today's 73 plate truck has 229912 kilometres on the odometer and has taken me first to Corby then to Nottingham.
