Good morning from a bright and sunny Suffolk. Coffee has been had and I'm just waiting for the washing to finish so it can go on the whirlygig to dry.
Today will be a day of some domestics and then sorting out my overnight bag as I'm off out tomorrow morning for the first away gig for a couple of months. This is the start of quite a busy period of travelling for me as there's another 8 nights away, one evening out and a final race meeting of the year between now and the first week of December.

As long as I breathe, I attack.
It's in the saddle, mine was. Changed the seat post, for other reasons, the mysterious creak went away.

playing again today i noticed the cassette wobbles when freewheeling , ok in a freewheel but this amount on a cassette is not normal.
As its a press fit bearing rings in this wheel i am going to take it to the shop as i am not confident in taking it to bits like cup and cone hubs .

Big soft fart here, pain is wonderful.oh boy, couple of days hopefully and then should feel ok.Strip wash only,do not wet the plaster thingy,5-7 days.Don't worry about the hum over your place, but i will try to kill as many bluebottles as i can liberal splashes of koglone over the face and body. i smell like a boudoir.Mrs P is taking the strain,i have no lifting pushing pulling and that is an order.Mrs P has decided in my hour of need to clean and declutter the kitchen.

Seems to me that they chucked you out a bit soon.
I have had two hernia jobs done and was kept in for I think four days each time but I suppose it is now modern practice to get you out asap.

Think Covid has stopped a lot of former practices. When I had a knee op everyone having a op and you should be home the same day had to be at their at 7am. Mass infection potential.
Sunny spells this morning and the ebike has had a lunchtime visit to a new, to it, set of bike stand at the hospital. Had a phonecall yesterday to say the rest of my tablets were ready to collect. Annoyingly the Lloyds in the hospital only opens 9-5 Mon-Fri.

Do you mind me asking, how far apart were those operations?. I think the Patient may be headed towards his second hernia repair. Last time he stayed in for two nights after the operation.

A relaxing evening has been had but it's possible that I consumed too many Pringles.

I must investigate why the base of my favorite armchair seems to have collapsed. Not as comfortable as it was.

Too many Pringles?

My hospital consultant friend says it's considered modern best practice to get people home again asap. It reduces the risks of picking up some of the infections that are always doing the rounds in hospital and it has also been shown that patients generally recover better in their own home.
