Drizzly walk in the woods and picked the last of the runner beans . All the leaves and stems are now in the garden bin. Waiting for Mr K to swap the cars round with me and I'll be setting off for some shopping .

Well we went to visit young Mr K and his fiance instead which was lovely so I had a late shop at the supermarket . I wanted to try making parkin but I have been unable to find any oatmeal .

Like all things American, it seems that other cultures are assimilated. Most Chinese food you see in America(Mongolian Beef, Chop Suey, General Tsos' Chicken,) you would not see in the Orient. They also have Walleye Pike. But they also have good dumplings, the chicken feet are delicious, and the frogs legs(fried) are very very good. As was the squid.
