I've cleaned bits of the kitchen, refereed a squabble, feed the birds in a vain attempt to stop them eating my lawn.... Not sure what I'm going to do next. Mr Summerdays has gone to the allotment, and I'll pop up later with a drink. In the meantime I must make use of this glorious sunshine

Driving back from York model railway exhibition along the traffic free York - Leeds carriageway of the A64 while being agog at the huge tailbacks on the Leeds - York A64 carriageway I congratulated myself on selecting the A58 and B1224 route into York which was traffic free.
It's a pity that I arrived at the exhibition a day early.
