Its foggy out. Its a wetter fog than yesterday's fog and much wetter fog than the previous day's fog. I can't explain it, but previously the fog hasn't left much water behind, then yesterday there was a dampness to metal and things around and today, well everything is sodden and dripping with lots of water. I guess the temperature of the fog has changed. But the end effect is that the fog is wetter today than it was yesterday and I sound totally mad!

It's a duller start than it's been all week, other mornings have been misty with glimpses of sunshine peeking through, and ending up reasonably sunny, today looks like I won't see the sun at all! And it was the first morning that made me think I ought to look out my winter wooly hats, scarves etc for when I'm not on the bike. I'm still in 3/4 lenght's but I suspect not for much longer!

I would post the recipe she uses up for you to try vernon but I fear that most of Mrs ID's recipes are a somewhat imprecise art that would not necessarily translate to written instructions.
I believe the 'secret ingredient' in the stock is mushroom ketchup, which she is going out to get a fresh bottle of having found we have managed to survive the non-Steak and Kidney suet pie season without any.
