It was seven years ago today that I took my girlfriend into a Fijean rainforest, and came out of it with a wife.

You never know what you're going to get in a jungle. Was that a good swap for you?

It's a non-Vernon day at my school as was every day since June 24th.

I go back this coming Monday. I can't wait to wreak havoc for the four days that I'll be there before starting a fortnight's holiday and flying to Spain.

yes, and patch up the pet mouse.....

I've tried hoovering it but it's too big for the Dyson. I'll have to revert to the rubber gloves and tongs technique.

I'll need to get rid of it before Mrs S comes home though. The last time this happened it took me 2 hours to coax her down from the kitchen stool where she had taken refuge.

I was in a Hawker stall in Singapore once (lots of small stalls offering different types of street cooking), and there were things there that looked suspiciously like cat pies. They had the tails hanging from the stall to advertise what they were selling.
