I'm getting better at winding up the callers trying to con me into giving them control of my computer, the one just now went ape and told me to 'get lost' before hanging up. I thought that was my job. Anyway all I said was "Would your mother cry if she found out that you make money by stealing from people?".

I get them because my details were part of the batch stolen from Talk Talk (who by the way have never apologised, I'm not with them now). I've been getting about two calls a week from India from people claiming to be from "The Talk Talk", so I've had plenty of chance to practice various approaches. My most childish was to enter into conversation then slip a swear word at the end of each sentence. Finally when she noticed I apologised and said I had Tourettes, explaining what that was. That gave me a chance to keep her going whilst my language got worse, gradually desolving into a long string of expletives before she finally hung up. Very infantile but satsfying.
