not so much down sauf as we have good enough weather to do proper hay where as most of the wrapped bales are silage/haylage (not as critical with rain after being cut and baled sooner after being cut than hay and better for dairy farms)ahhh - the black spot and the pale green spots that appear like plagues in the countryside and slowly spread north as the weather improves...
we currently have a green spot outbreak around here
Sorry they don't half ruin a perfectly good landscape photo....
any way it's unfair to say they all look so bad, in fact i think they look great! and this year they came in the pretty in pink variety

bale wrap manufacturer volac decided to make a special run of pink bale wrap this year that they would charge a bit more for and the extra the customer pays goes to a breast cancer charity
