Waiting for my in-laws to arrive.

They heard I had taken a bad fall during the week and are now visiting again...

I have just tried on all my holiday clothes, some still fit.

Left leg had been playing up with numbness... Numb patch on the front of the thigh and another on my right buttock... Couple of days of really bad back pain, lots of tears still. Pain is starting to drop but sleeping is bad still!

Thankfully my oh had literally just come home otherwise it would have been a 999 call because I was stuck completely and could only reach the phone and the morphine! I know our car engine, it had a very distinctive tone to it and my falls are one of the reasons we don't lock me into the house at all! It's safer that way in our view.

I'm just sitting next to Mrs R's bed while she sleeps. She's been in quite a lot of pain from her neck op so it's good she's getting some kip.

The plus side is that I'm finishing off a book I got for Xmas 2013 but never really had the time to read.

Pass her my best wishes and it's good of you to sit there with her.

Edit: but wait till she next awake!

Instead of my usual Sunday ride we are visiting our daughter at uni and I'm stuffed from a yummy Sunday lunch at The Swan in Edgbaston.
Good thing it's half term, I'll have to ride all day tomorrow to work it off!

I'm off to look at a "vintage" steel bike. It's a 1975 Sun road bike. I hope it looks as good as the bloke who's selling it says it is?! He's been bigging it up for months, so now's the time to find out if it's as good as he says it is!

Must be worth offering him a tenner Accy.... and then walking away as if you mean it!

Hubster has put me up a fluorescent tube light in the kitchen. So much better than the single energy saving bulb thing we did have. Instant light for a start!
