A most enjoyable late breakfast/early lunch in Leamington with my Good Lady this morning.

Today was a lovely bright and warm sunny morning so I prepared drinks bottles and nutrition to go out for my ride as soon as I was back home after taxiing daughter, only to have Mrs ID 'suggest' that she came with me and we turned taxiing daughter into nipping over to pick up my phone from my Mum's (see last nights post ref alternative geolocation of phone relative to my person) and to go to do something called 'shopping' in town afterwards.

I pointed out that it was a warm and sunny day and therefore not conducive to 'shops' only to experience a long hard stare from someone who had already made 'a decision'. So, ride postponed until afternoon... except.. Well, we taxi daughter back from work after phone collection and shopping trip, Mrs ID and daughter collude and decide to drive to the coast (only a few miles from here) and get an ice cream to sit on the beach with. I tell them that I really want to go home and get my bike out, only to be met by two long hard stares from two people who have made a 'unanimous decision'.

Then Mrs ID and daughter collude again to come to a decision about what to have for supper and decide they fancy a dish that Dad does... So despite the morning involving 'shopping', Dad (me) actually needs to go off and buy the ingredients for preferred dish (bamboo shoots, pak choi and a ginger root) because this supper is completely different from the planned one during this morning's 'shopping'. I'm back but knackered, I'm going to have to have a snooze before getting on with cooking supper (and I need to blend a spice mix) and I think the drinks bottles I made up this morning will be staying in the fridge until coming out with me on the bike tomorrow.

Well, that's the plan at the moment anyway.

The only way to fill in suntan gaps is to put suncream on the brown bits.
