Thanks for your reply though I'll have to wait till the morning to watch the videos! Otherwise I will be in trouble with Me Summerdays!

My son would love it if we had a ride on mower, but we can't really justify it in terms of lawn. Just a small handkerchief out the front, and a bit more at the back.
Mine is not very large, and quite basic. A guy I know of had it for sale. It is rather old, but nice for what I need. Old enough to be steel where you would find plastic nowadays

Ariens, mine is a 12/32, this one is 16/40, and they also make a 10/28 (first number is horsepower, second is blade size. Starter and power take-off are about the only electric components on this mower.

@Gravity Aided I've watched the video and this clip is the picture in my head complete with bicycle::laugh: View attachment 145818

And the roads look so empty!!
That's Cedar Crest, built in the 1920's. Near parish church of Christ the King, other Episcopal Church in town, and the Immanuel Bible Foundation. Just east of Illinois Wesleyan University. It does look like the neighborhood I grew up in in Peoria, where there are more areas like this. The reason there are no cars on the streets is probably due to an area parking ban. If they were filming the commercial near you, you weren't to park on the street.
