It has been a very still but bright day here today though we did have a 10 minute shower when i had to get the washing in.

Both furballs are snoring peacefully.

I can't like that .... I love marzipan.... it's one of those foods I can carry on eating even after it starts to make me feel sick!!! (My mum used to hide it around the kitchen in all sorts of places but I was very good at finding it ... and it improved my climbing kitchen cupboard skills tremendously!

I used to hate marzipan as a child but now i don't mind it on cakes. I do love Christmas cake which if you didn't know you can buy all year round in Sainsburys

My mum loves it and always gets lots of marzipan sweets for Christmas which i can do without.

The marzipan is the only bit worth eating on a Christmas Cake ... but then there is Mince Pies ... (except it's too early to make any mincemeat yet!!)

Bit early yet Rocky, maybe once the clocks go back I'll start making my list of people not to buy presents for
