No that would be a 30 minute lie in by HW standards. I suggest either another glass of Sauvingon before bed or cycle 38 miles instead of the usual 37.

A nice Belgian lady told me white wine vinegar on bites works.

It does but you smell like a frites bar.

You'll end up with a chipped kneecap, Chris. Best to treat the mosquito wound with a nice breakfast, the Guardian crossword, followed by exhausting coverage of Le Tour (a work of genou-us) from your daybed. Ointment by Messrs Kernel, Watney or other should be within easy reach, to soothe the troubled brow.

Good to know they put our taxes to good use.

Don't worry, you have an extra day to get over it. Incidentally, I got half way through Thursday thinking it was Wednesday so perhaps you got my missing day.

We have a group of volunteers who put up and look after hanging baskets around our way, lovely they are too
