When I see/hear about William Hague I always think of this clip.
I sat in the gallery in the House of Commons many, many moons ago and watched a debate. Hague gave a speech and I kid you not, whilst I disagreed with nearly everything he said, I wanted to stand up and applaud his oratory skills. I had to sit on my hands.

I visited a friend yesterday and for some reason:whistle: I thought of you @coffeejo  Lets just say I understand the problems with the cone of shame more thoroughly! At this point I was getting backed against the door by an enthusiastic dog and didn't realise the postman was standing on the other side of the glass door trying to post a letter into my head!

I sit on a committee which starts at 12.00 and ends at 6.00pm (it always over-runs by 2 hours) reviewing research protocols. It's a combination of mind-numbing tedium and head-exploding complexity with death by acronym in between.

 I can imagine that being the expression as the day rolls on.....

It has to be said he is a great orator, it's a voice that is enjoyable, even captivating at times to listen to. Galloway is also a great speaker although he very much makes himself a fly in the ointment.(not always a bad thing) You tube his appearance in front of the the Senate (I think) answering questions about the oil for food program.

I disagree about Galloway - he has always made my skin crawl.
