Young?I've missed something. Why are you talking about Potsy?
Small ginger and white cat going free.
Henry is in total pickle mode and I have just caught him hanging off the sitting room blinds
Oh yesSound of comedy scampering noises coming from Norfolk.
You are banned from the beach.
You just encourage him.
The poor thing's obviously missing you....
I haven't taught him to climb things. He's good as gold whenever I see him

Henry has never done it before either to my knowledge.Merlot has never climbed curtains, too lazy. Her predecessor, Sophie, could often be found sitting on the curtain rail when she was a youngster.
I started with a 24mm guide bush and increased the depth of each pass by no more than 4mm. The workpiece is 40mm thick beech so there was quite a length of cutter poking out of the router base by the time I got through to the bottom. Then I repeated the process with a 20mm bush so that my final cut was only 2mm wide. Worked a treat.Either glue a 'sacrificial' strip on either end to help prevent spelch then plane that off or clamp a couple on if you have a long sash clamp.
Hopefully the weight of a big handheld will stop it 'kicking' too badly. I'd prefer to use a top bearing cutter and ditch the guide ring though.
