Here for rides.
The loft hatch is now considerably larger than it was previously.

Out in the garden just now I spotted one of our local spiders topping up their larder.

Oh, blimey, I have been bad......:rose:

Since moving to Somerset and discovering that both grass snakes and adders live on my doorstep (not literally, thankfully - that was only a slow worm), I've made a concerted effort to learn about them and get used to them. I still jump a mile high when I see a rogue stick and automatically assume it's a hungry anaconda.

OK Confession time.....

I've found it (it wasn't in my pannier in the first place :blush: well it was but the wrong one... and I didn't check it... just the pannier I took and various handbags.... Mr Summerdays can't make up his mind whether to be pleased (it's found), or cross (I put him through all this stress)!!! Me I'm just glad I've found it ...

I've taken photos of what is it it (good job it wasn't lost as there are cards in there that I didn't report as missing ... I've no idea what they are for ... I'm going to hand them back to Mr Summerdays .... I've got too many).

Wow, that's great news. It was lost and you found it! Must be a huge relief.

Morning all. Time to get up and do some work in the garden. Need to work out how to fence in the veg plot and really annoy the chooks today. then work out how to stop their up and over at the gate into their enclose where they can access the veg plot from and finally work out some gates. I know where I want them and where they are going to work best but actually getting them up and running will be another matter entirely. Or more likely my OH's job. I'm just going to go and sow some seeds (easier said than done because the only 1 bed is ready. the other 3 still need digging over, but one is started) and then rig up something to try to stop the possum and chooks from eating the seedlings that need planting out. Plus I have some piles of debris from the lawn to get into the wheelbarrow and the chooks to feed. Just went to feed them and found one of them in the nesting boxes. early days with them yet so didn't want to go in and walk passed her whilst she was in there just in case because she's the one that doesn't lay every day (seems to be a 2 days on, 2 days off rota from what I can make out, but I think I may need to start to record it so I know what is going on, the formerly pullet, newly hen is laying everyday so that's easy to keep track of!)

Right. Its nearly 7:30am and I should have started 15 mins ago... off now. Bye...

You don't have Linux server set up to do that already? I'm shocked!
I had no reliable/useable internet until yesterday!
I do have a Linux machine though, but it will need a lot of updates to it first - goes off to think about life - how can TV programs be timed to be downloaded between 1am and 7am? It went into the shipping container back in April and hasn't yet been turned on and tbh I don't know a lot about Ubuntu and how to use it. I can find my way around it, look up what I need to know and know the odd command or two but otherwise I'm android and windows. Been out of IT (as a job, or more accurately not worked) since we left to go off on our attempted world tour over 5 years ago now!
