OK Confession time.....

I've found it (it wasn't in my pannier in the first place :blush: well it was but the wrong one... and I didn't check it... just the pannier I took and various handbags.... Mr Summerdays can't make up his mind whether to be pleased (it's found), or cross (I put him through all this stress)!!! Me I'm just glad I've found it ...

I've taken photos of what is it it (good job it wasn't lost as there are cards in there that I didn't report as missing ... I've no idea what they are for ... I'm going to hand them back to Mr Summerdays .... I've got too many).
Yay but

At least you found it. When my Good Lady lost her purse a couple of years ago it was never found. Amongst the cards and cash were Her house keys and I had to change the locks then get keys organised for the family members that had keys. She was that upset about it I couldn't be mad at Her.

I locked myself and an ex out of our rented house a few years ago. At the time, we lived two doors up from our AM for the National Assembly for Wales - having discovered that although her daughter's hand was small enough to fit through the letterbox, her arm wasn't long enough to reach the lock, we ended up getting her husband to smash a window round the back. He was volunteered as he was well known in the area so it was less likely that anyone would ring the police and if they did, it wouldn't be as bad as if she was the one breaking and entering!

Edited to add that the reason I posted this was that my ex was amused until the bill came for the new window. Never forgotten my keys since!

You have just reminded me that Mr Summerdays lost the house and garage keys and I was the one who sorted out the new keys.... That's got to count for something.... He's actually not being too bad at all.... Though now they are found he is saying he can think of a few jobs I can do to make up for it (including sorting through my paper mountain of filing)!
