Morning. It is a lovely sunny start to the day here.

The dawn chorus this morning was provided by a very loud Gwen telling me that I was late giving her her breakfast.

The sun's blazing through my bedroom window and it's gone from being pleasant to burning my retinas. Trouble is, getting up means starting the day and that involves doing the laundry (see aforementioned reference to sunshine), which means stripping the bed, and that means making it again. I know, I know. #firstworldproblems #JFDI

Another gloriously sunny and warm day on the beach. Dog walking with a friend i havent seen for a few weeks and then lunch is on the agenda for today.

No1 son has gone to Amsterdam for a few days with his girlfriend. So I was up at 4:30 to take them to Birmingham airport. Glorious morning but a bit chilly, now ready for a days lazing about.
