I hope he gets better soon. My dad spent quite a lot of time in hospital in his last few years. He perfected a system of ignoring eye contact, pretending to be deaf and never speaking to people. He said that the wards were full of strange people and this was his way of surviving in their company.
Also a useful tactic to employ with some on this forum :okay:^_^

It's drizzling right now

Morning all.

Touch of rain here overnight, due a little more before midday then clear skies all afternoon and frosty again overnight.

My chooks rather like tuna fish for some reason. Can't get them to eat anything else in the way of kitchen scraps mind you but there we go... Tuna want a scrap, it's a stand by for when it's too bad for them to get out and be free range and as a treat hand feeding them. I've got to be able to catch the blighters one way or another without digging a hole and waiting for them!

My Dad is back in hospital again having picked up and then completely ignored a urine infection ....

Anyway in his state of confusion they have shifted which ward he is on 3 times...last night they tried to shift him for the 4th time in 3 days!! He apparently sat in his chair and refused to move and read his paper! (He can be a stubborn old goat sometimes:giggle:). The hospital paid for a taxi to see if my mum could persuade him... But he just got into bed and went to sleep! She finally got home at 11 pm. He has now had the most to eat for quite a while today.... So hopefully is turning a corner!
Late to this as always... (internet issues should be sorted by the end of the week... I'll have satellite broadband :wahhey:) best wishes to him and fingers crossed.

Apparently we got caught up with the aftermath of a crash on the M1 this afternoon according to the boy, I haven't the faintest idea what he's on about...I was asleep all the way home.

Junc 7 several cars stopped, one that had tangled with a lorry, several people sitting on the central crash barrier and several coppers directing traffic round it.
