There are some spectacular cloud formations out on the sea this evening and a heavy band of fog rolling in.

I would much appreciate if you would keep that to yourself for 24 hours- I am organising a big golf tournament tomorrow!!

I'm taking my car to fail its MOT this afternoon.
I hope it wasn't as bad as you feared and can be fixed if necessary?

I just caught the end of a clip on TV saying that most people benefit from exercising outdoors rather than in the gym, it had something to do with the way that our brains are wired, our animal ancestry. For my point of view it seems that is the way my brain is wired, whether I am out walking or cycling I am constantly listening and looking around, especially over hedgerows. It stimulates my brain, the what's that curiosity kicks in and it gets my brain thinking.
The idea of joining a gym has never appealed to me I think I would soon get bored.

I completely agree with you. I have never been through the door of a gym. I'd rather dress for the weather and get outside as much as possible.

But fair.
Probably!

Does this mean that all the OS coordinates for the UK have now changed? I'm only asking because I've only recently got round to getting the whole of the UK on 1:25000 scale. It would be annoying if they were all out now.
I was wondering the same thing!

Mrs v R has made a large batch of Damson jam.

It's all runny!!

I would reboil it with a packet of pectin, depending how sweet it already is.

Just be aware Potsy and I are entering the Team Sprint at the next CC track meet. We will look very fetching in our matching skin suits.

It has been decided that I will lead out, because 250m is about as far as I can manage these days.
We'll all be there to cheer you on!

I know what @Mad Doug Biker does on a Sunday morning

He's a vicar...... bless you my son :giggle:

There's a Biker Church on one of the club routes but I think it's for the motorised variety.

I hate AMEX, that is all.
Oh dear.

Wife has to go in for surgery in 2 weeks for DCIS which requires the milk duct removing..
none invasive cancer We hope..but it should be a trouble free opp with no problems.
she worries more about anesthetic..being very sick..
excelent service from PH

Very best wishes to your dear wife and good luck for a speedy recovery and good result.

In theory, yes. In practice you would need to be receiving full RTK (Real Time Kinematic) corrections to notice the difference. The GNSS kit we use is sub centimetre stuff!
Phew! That's alright then.

Pilates or ride the bike in the Garage on Zwift London route ?
I hope that you went to Pilates?!
Edit. I see that you didn't!!

We went down to the beach to watch the sun set.

How do you get all those bits in one post? I am mightily impressed!

The bit about the jam has been passed to the appropriate department. I understand tomorrow involves jam resuscitation! It might be all up the wall come tomorrow night!!

Good luck with the jam.

Sometimes when I have several pages of mundaneness to catch up on and I try replying to individual messages, I lose my place or I carry on reading and find that someone else has already said what I was thinking or there's been further updates etc. So recently, I've learnt to click on the +quote button, then keep reading and press the same +quote button on each message I want to reply to, then when I get to the end, you click on the quote these messages button, then type your reply between each one, adding extra spaces as necessary to separate them slightly. I've been on Cycle Chat for two years and have only been doing this for a while!! Learning all the time!
