Morning. It was really grey when I first looked out of the window this morning. Grey everywhere, low cloud covering the hills and drizzle blowing into my face, even the weather forecaster said that it was going to be grey today. But I can now see some blue sky moving this way, it is only a small gap but is has made me feel a bit brighter.
I'm sorry I've painted an idyllic picture of where we are staying. The grey has now returned!

Well done @Katherine .. 100 miles !! Thats Peterborough to York for an idea of Wownes:notworthy:

So does this cyclist claiming her first century! I took peanut butter and jam sandwiches with me. Worked a treat, well, as well as the bananas and jelly babies. I had my first jelly baby at 45 miles.
Well done! That is quite a distance even travelling in a car and I would have eaten a whole packet of spearmint soft mints in that time.
I have never ridden even half that distance so congratulations on your achievement.

Well done your wowness @Katherine. You can now post in the imperial century a month thread :bravo:
At the moment, I'm thinking Never Again! Very sore thighs but quite tender all over. I had a painful but awesome post ride massage at the event.
I fell asleep trying to catch up on this thread, last night. Off now for the first day of the new school year.

For some reason it was very hard to like one of @User14044 comments this morning. Computer kept saying:

Mind, it was a typical comment.

As of today, mainland UK has a brand new National Coordinate System. OSGB36(15) uses a new adjustment of the good 'ol ETRS89 system.

If you use GNSS equipment you need to check out your new .CSCS and .GEM files today as the OSGB36(02) Coordinate System you used on Friday will give you different results today as the Active Monitoring Stations used for both old and new have had their positions adjusted.

What fun!

Just when you thought you had finally got Bonnie Tyler Total Eclipse of the Heart out of your head.

Someone brings it up again. A view across the bay from where we are staying, yesterday of Burgh Island. We went there for the Total Eclipse back in 2000, it was grey that day as well!

That is fabulous, I am pretty sure 100 miles would kill me dead!

Grey murky and yuck here too

Morning all, I have enjoyed my possibly last camping weekend of the season at Gilwell and and have bought my first ever piece of Scout clothing. Hope all is well with one and all
