They're used to it now. We've got a very eclectic mix of accents between the family now. It's a sibling get together with parents but no partners so we will all start to sound the same again I expect.

Walking along the canal tonight I noticed a narrowboat, by the Paper Mill, had become untethered at one end and swung out at right angles to the bank. Fortunately there's not much navigation at night.

I was trickling along at walking pace waiting for the oncoming transit to clear the parked lorry and got my foot entangled in the front wheel, unfortunately I'm 65 in December and don't bounce like I used to. Details are in my Your Ride Today post.

Yep, I know that feeling, I don't bounce either. I recall the day when, walking to work, I got my feet caught in one of those wire rings from hubcaps. It was like having your feet suddenly tied together. Ended up a bit bloodied and with scratched glasses. If I see them on the pavement now I pick them up, as I did two last Saturday.
