Yep ours will demolish one and cucumber too, they'll chow down on nettles and no lawn is safe either. They have a sweet beak and have had most of a watermelon today.

We have a magpie that takes the piddle out of our chooks too. It'll dig up a few worms, eat half of them and line the remains up on the path that goes round the chickens enclosure so they can see them but not get at them. The magpie has done it too often to be random now.
