After seeing my Osteopath last night she tells me i have torn my right medial knee ligament. 6-8 weeks R&R.

that isn't going to happen.Im going on tour in 13 days.

I need to refer myself to the doping git thread .

Oh, @Hill Wimp ...... one more thing, Mrs R says that you may have torn your ligament quite a while ago but it has only just been diagnosed by the osteopath. So it may not be a recent injury. She often sees ex-sports people with knee problems which they did in their youth but only decided to see the doctor after a number of years have passed. You may have been cycling with it for the last few years, anyway.

Thank the good Doc for me Rocky. I will swap cycling for walking this weekend. It will still be along the beach so all is not lost

I think she is spot on with this being an old injury. The Osteo said it could be and that my run the other week where i pulled the calf muscle below dodging stinging nettles probably aggravated it.
