That's a bit closer to us as well, but I don't think his noise will carry to us, if it does I've got ear plugs at the ready.

We're having Elton John over soon, that's even closer, I might go away that day.

I'm glad I moved up to the edge of Glenfield, My old flat was on Lancaster road, looking out over Welford Rd Reccy/Nelson Mandela Park (or 'Dog $hit Triangle. if you lived nearby) so there would have been no reprise.

Would that work better on an iron? gate (silver coloured metal exposed and it rusts, not sure how you tell what it is made of).

Just got back from a family gathering.... Looks like you've got your work cut out with that one. Very fiddly, be careful the old paint may contain Lead.
I think it's trial and error with some of the other suggestions. There's a couple of videos on YouTube that might help as well.

The grand little peeps came round yesterday, it was a bit difficult trying to keep an eye on them all whilst also trying to play swingball with the eldest as we do have a pond. Once the two boys discovered that there were things to see in the pond we spent some time looking for wildlife. even the neighbours cat came over for a cuddle, mine is terrified of children and dissapears as soon as she hears them.

Morning all. Rocky Jr is officially a git, what a life he is living ^_^

Anyway, tea and back to bed, with the shennanigans over the last couple of days I'm not sure what day it is, but apparently I'm on holiday this week.

In other news, Mary-Anne Hobbs is a thoroughly lovely lady despite nicking the deckchairs I had my eye on in Paris.

I have a BIG mug of tea and I am chillaxing before today's activities which may include Fetes, Cycling and visiting a friend who has just returned from the El camino de Santiago.

My cold might be Man Flu!!! its been a while since i had a proper cold..
Suposed to be biking later but i have a rough chesty cough which the wife has had for 3 weeks..
great..
fresh air might do me good..though that may be windy with odd sunshine bits
If you feel well enough to contemplate a bike ride then it's not man flu. Hope the cough settles soon.

I need to start doing more miles in less time. I'm intending to do a long ride without stopping at the slightest excuse, eg to get a photo, admire the view etc(both of those might also be for a rest). So I'm doing a route that I did recently.
Why ?

Are you in training?

Remember it's all about the ride, not the time.
