Morning all, I am now officially in blind panic about doing my camping qualification with my Guides this weekend.

Piece of cake. Have fun. Used to take Beavers and cubs camping.

I've been a bad boy this morning. Upset a load of "Zwifters" by telling them the Tour of Cambridge Grand Fondo isn't a race, some got very upset.

The Tour of Cambridge Grand Frodo sounds like a race for hobbits.

Some are very upset. "There is a pen for those with a racing license !" I was told. It says you pick what groups you want to start in, so if you have 'gold membership' you get to go in the front pens. Going to leave it. There are some right virtual world warriors.

I've just had an electric shower. My wife said that I should make use of the free lekky whilst the Sun is up. I painted my head and started putting on a T shirt and thought this feels tight. Sure enough the label had a man's name on it, a bit of a giveaway, mine usually have Ladybirds.

No, my brother has a seafront flat on the other side of the pier from the pond and a nephew is visiting, so it's a look-see for him and a tag-along from my mother. As my brother is an early afternoon riser, I end up passing my morning watching cyclists bowling up and down the promenade and I think ''It should be me!''

I seem to remember - possibly pre-swan time - seeing a mock battle with model ships in that pond. I wonder whether they still do that.

Combining cycling and bowling sounds a bit complicated to me. Is it a bit like playing hockey while riding a pony?

I might get the summer bike back out of hibernation, not a cloud in the sky

I was going to drive today but maybe I'll cycle the 20 mile round trip instead.

I take them on indoor ones and on large scale ones all the time, I think it is just thought of having a tester coming round that I am worried about.

Just got back from a 6.5 mile run along The Ridgeway, it's beautiful up there this morning, not cloud in the sky.

Just found out that Dusty had to be put down the day we left the UK.

Had thought with summer (in the UK) being just around the corner that he would have lasted until the autumn at least having survived this last winter.
Sadly he took a fall on one of his walks, split his shoulder bone in two and with his heart condition being so bad (and why I stopped walking him) they were unable to operate on him.
