Don't worry, we have one in Canberra as well!

Right, it's lovely and warm. Blue skies :sun:, breakfast and lunch on the patio so far. there's a good with the most delightful song that I can't even catch sight of to identify and those yellow crested parakeets don't half make a racket but it is so strange seeing them flying around.

It's mid afternoon here now, (2:15pm) so morning all! Have a good Sunday. Seen loads of cyclists out today as well. Missing my bikes now....
G'Day @SatNavSaysStraightOn Hows 'apartment' living going?

He'll be back, probably playing with the 'big lads'
He's back and looking as cool as a cucumber. Sasha was obviously concerned too as she was glued to the window looking fir him and turned down an egg yolk for breakfast which is unheard of for her.

When he did stroll in they has the most long sweet nose touch and no hissing or spitting. Mind you, now both have eaten and are settling down for the first of many hours kip i am sure all will be back to normal and cold war relations will resume.

Last night's ride turned out to be about 20 miles as we guessed, my wife checked the route with her phone. While we were out cycling we spotted a Sparrowhawk being yelled at by a Starling. We also saw a Little Owl which flew out of some trees as we went past, I haven't seen one for years. Something like a light orange Fox or a big ginger moggy dashed across the road in front of us, but was too fast to be able to tell what it was.
It turned grey cold, windy and started to drizzle as we cycled back towards the pub, it was nice to get out and Potter around for a while.
Bering watch, It's August, but we are going away for a break by the sea bank holiday week so I wanted it for then. I think it is the most I have ever spent on myself for an unnecessary item.

Have you aged prematurely then?

It has stopped raining!
Drove to the back of beyond yesterday to visit the National Woollen Museum. It was closed due to "industrial action."

The vocalist is Derek Hussey, he is very similar to Dury in delivery. The Blockheads were always Norman Watts' band with Dury the lyricist, so there was never a problem with the band carrying on without Ian, the sound and style being Norman's.

I saw the Blockheads a few years ago without Ian Dury, great band with the brilliant Norman Watts on bass.
