No ... it's clouded over much faster today.... I took a lovely blue sky photo at this time yesterday and I would say it's now almost 100% cloud cover... just hoping it stays dry!

I took a detour this morning and this bit of track reminded me of the many photos @SatNavSaysStraightOn has posted, though not as good as hers. Have a wonderful adventure and I hope the journey isn't too painful!

Lovely. Better than being stuck in a car (hire care at that!) all day.

Just said good bye to my parents. Did my OH's earlier. My mum was in tears for some reason. Not sure why because last time we were going off to cycle around the world. They had no idea where we would be, when we would be there or where we were staying and we had quit our jobs. This time we are going to a fixed location, not cycling, planned to be out for less time, have a job and income and they know where we will be but....

Oh well. Photos done, goodbyes said and we are on the M6.

Occy Health report has arrived. I can return to 'some work'. I'll await HR to get in touch but I hope to go back about 6th June if they can sort me a space out.

Air ambulance landed other side of hedge at work and the road through is closed.
Hope whoever it was is ok. Saw them being resuscitated on the way back from the bank
