After being stuck behind the wheel of a car for the last two days, I eventually managed to get to try out my Shimano sandals. The only reason I stopped at the real ale pub on the way home was to eliminate an occasional heel strike in the pub garden. I think I'm going to enjoy my footwear....

I didn't get to the seaside, we went to a local Manor which had an open garden day instead. It was a lovely warm day and it was nice to Potter around and see some pretty plants and sculptures in a garden setting. I don't think I could have coped with a long trip today.
