I've confused everyone this morning, I got up and got washed and dressed straight away, I normally sit round in my dressing gown for half the morning if I'm not going out. Now everyone is wondering whats going on.

Mr Hop is going to have to bite the bullet and dip into the pot for a new boiler.

Can it be before the 7th please otherwise i may have to consider my plans

It's not all that old. Boiler repair man is on the case today. And the fire is lit

Sunny again, getting quite boring now, I think we need some dull weather for a few days to mix it up a bit.

A decision has been made, we are off to the garden centre for a bacon and egg cob breakfast before shopping. Given that we are hitting the pub again tonight for more beer festival and comedy, any thoughts of diet seem pointless.

I've done the garden centre ... WITHOUT eating anything , and I have liberated some plants from death row, mostly pots of daffs (tete a tête-à-tête) and a wallflower!

Mr R is asleep on the sofa with Jack. I took a cycle into town on Nellie and used my new Litelok in anger for the first time.

The fixings for the filling to a steak and mushroom pie are in the slow cooker, along with half a bottle of claret. That will be tomorrow's lunch.
