Are you entirely mad????
Anchovies of course.:hungry:

Yes but they've very salty and might affect the garlic taste. Don't you think?

Having met you and your pudlets, I think it is Doug that will get a lesson in mad.

Oi!!

I had 1 medium glass of Merlot and 2 glasses of lemonade

I now finally have in my hands a large G&T

I think I am ready-ish sort of, just the car to pack in the morning and a quick peer at the box of stock I can't get to without User76 waking up.... and then it is off to my first big show on my ownsome and not as part of the Village Market... which is a bit eekk... as with them it is no sales no cost... but this is costing.... (lots)

I have printed my pass... I am opposite the cider stall but as I am driving I think I may have to get a takeaway for the end of the day....

I have to be up in 3 hours time... I have already asked my Mum to check that if I am wearing make up I have done both eyes and not one and then wandered off because I remembered something I need to do and then never did the other one...

I am *&$%$%*$_ my pants but if it is big and scarey it means I'm alive ^_^

In an act of mundane stupidity, I poked a 5mm drill bit into the end of my middle finger. Lip and spur bits make light work of flesh when applied with sudden force. It stopped shy of the bone.:okay:

I missed a trip to A&E narrowly when cleaning fluff out of the sewing machine I turned power on so it would illuminate the area better, then hit auto sew accidently as I had the pedal lead removed... I have a small plaster... but it could have been 1/2 a finger off  stupid is in the air tonight.....

At least you could stich up the wound with the tool at hand. I had to make do with a bit of kitchen roll and a length of black insulating tape. It worked a treat.

No no no, I have a fear of stitches... my ex cut himself badly once then stitched himself up... came out of the bathroom and showed me the wound and I passed out... when I sliced my finger to the bone with an apple peeler/corer I did similar with kitchen roll and packing tape as I could not possible go to get it sorted as we had people coming for dinner... and also I would have probably been arested for all sorts of assualt had they insisted on stitching me...

I'm amazed that you allow a sewing machine in the house....

My mother stitched her thumb I had a fear of sewing machines till I had a few one on one lessons as I wanted to overcome it and now it is my work so sewing machines I can cope with (as long as I power off and use the torch to see whilst cleaning them from now on) Bert is a bit grumpy todya as he has been worked hard the last few weeks... Big bad is also playing up as he broke a needle and ate a few bags too this week... they can all have a nice clean and oil on Sunday... then it will be back to the grindstone for them for Barking Bonanza next weekend...

p.s. I have finished my gin... I would quite like another one but I should got to bed as I now have only 2.5 hours till I get up again...

My mother had a Singer that weighed a ton, complete with hardwood drawers as a plinth. I think the arm must have been solid cast iron. She turned the handle and did stuff. I think that if it's your right hand driving the handle, you probably stop stitching your body parts quite quickly. Alas, electricity with did away that vital, self-preserving safety feature.
