The three-legged hop is a sign of the luxating knee issue that caused his ruptured cruciate ligament. His other knee also luxates but not as badly, so he'll still do the hop but just on the other side.

We had a Cairn with luxating patella years ago, sadly his operation was not a success. Hope Jack's is.

I got 'rounded up' during today's ride by a Jack Russell and a couple of border collies, I think they thought I was a stray sheep ^_^

Took a good few minutes of fussing before they'd let me go on my way, daft buggers.

Not my sons BC then, his two loves in life are attention and tennis balls. Once he has you making a fuss of him he'll not give up.

It would not let me write anything. I posted a picture of Gwen. She lost her twin brother last year, they were ex farm kittens that were born in a box of nails. They lived underneath the kitchen cupboards for the first week we had them until they were finally enticed out with some food. Her brother Trent was the more placid of the two, they both helped me to build a partition wall, climbing in and out of the noggins.

So how old it she now, she looks well matured and wise in the ways of the world.
