Thunder storms forecast for noon here

I've not yet fully recovered from the man flu I had back in February, don't rush it rockyDid I mention I was still poorly?
My school run and other shenanigans friend is moving far far away... Squidge is in Year 5 and it has taken me this long to find someone who a) I can put up with their children b) Is as thoroughly un PC as me c) I quite like....
This is not good news...
Me too ... my main playground friend moved to Cheltenham (err must be 10 years ago since her youngest never started school here and is doing his GCSE's this year), we still meet up a couple of times a year. I did make other friends.Yes, it's hard isn't it, when a friend moves away. I still keep in touch with a similar sounding friend - we had children at the same school and would share the mum's taxi service, out of school social stuff and grown up stuff too, but phone calls and the rare meet up aren't the same at all. My son never made a new best friend either. I think it's easier for the person who moves as they are usually made to feel welcome in their new setting.
Definitely a time of adjustment for you![]()
I've just had my hair cut... (I'm not fond of the process).... and I hate having my hair washed in those uncomfortable bowls .... it really hurts my neck!!! (I suspect I should actually mention it and get them to adjust the chair rather suffering in extreme pain!)
The "present" lasts only 2.7 seconds. Everything else is either the past or the future.
However, a period of 2.7 seconds isn't equal everywhere.
When you'd knocked it over, that was in the past!I suspect that figure changes based on your age.
I managed to knock over a full mug of tea this morning, the present took far less than 2.7 sec then.
When you'd knocked it over, that was in the past!
