Enjoy your birthday, @Illaveago ! Many happy returns of the day.

I have been feeling a bit achey and sneezy these past few days, but as it was sunny earlier I thought I would wet flat a petrol tank that I have got to spray.

Everything was going well until I decided to clean out a couple of spray guns.
Shhhhh! Don't tell the wife. I unscrewed a fluid tip of one of the guns and a jet of silvery thinners shot out and on to the floor. The floor happened to be the
patio. She might think the silvery trail was left by a snail.

I washed the trail off with thinners on a rag. I don't like gravity fed guns.

:cry: My school run and other shenanigans friend is moving far far away... Squidge is in Year 5 and it has taken me this long to find someone who a) I can put up with their children b) Is as thoroughly un PC as me c) I quite like....

This is not good news...

Yes, it's hard isn't it, when a friend moves away. I still keep in touch with a similar sounding friend - we had children at the same school and would share the mum's taxi service, out of school social stuff and grown up stuff too, but phone calls and the rare meet up aren't the same at all. My son never made a new best friend either. I think it's easier for the person who moves as they are usually made to feel welcome in their new setting.
Definitely a time of adjustment for you :hugs:

Me too ... my main playground friend moved to Cheltenham (err must be 10 years ago since her youngest never started school here and is doing his GCSE's this year), we still meet up a couple of times a year. I did make other friends.

I've just had my hair cut... (I'm not fond of the process).... and I hate having my hair washed in those uncomfortable bowls .... it really hurts my neck!!! (I suspect I should actually mention it and get them to adjust the chair rather suffering in extreme pain!)

Don't you pay them?
