We should have a drink to celebrate

Blimey - not long. How's the training going? Or will you be using my approach - use the first half of the tour to get fit for the second half.

I'm about to up the miles. Tomorrow could well be the start of two or three days per week of cycling to work. I'll be having a mini tour at the end of May if Knockengorroch doesn't wreck me and weekend mileage will be upped. It's a long first half of a tour...

It can't be that bad Saluki... I hope you'll be able to fix it....
The shed was roofless when we moved here. We re-roofed and let the flooring dry out. We have noticed that there is some drift to the walls of the shed so we have waited until the weather forecast said 2 good days on the bounce so we could empty it, take it apart and cuprinol the floor. We'll put new hard standing (slabs and gravel) down after breakfast, then put the shed back up, in it's new position. We'll get new perspex for it's window too. Maybe even sling some curtains up, you never know.

It needs a few bits of 3x2 along the edges of the flooring, to re-structure it and it'll be fine. I am not paying out for a new shed. Have you seen the cost of the things

Mousyfecker and his pals seem to have feasted on my tasty offerings.....and died under the floorboards upstairs. Not a good smell initially, but they seem to be getting less offensive by the day.
Have you considered getting a Jack Russell?

Eleven miles to work in Bradford on a nice clear and crisp morning. My Woodrup is parked next to my teaching space.

I read that as "one of my teenagers has gone mouldy"! On rereading, I was quite relieved to discover that you were referring to fruit. On checking my own fruit bowl, I was also quite relieved to find no evidence of mould. Phew x two!

Teenagers, mouldy, what's new about that.

I'm waiting for the grandchildren to become teenagers. heheh

I found that it was frequently the teenagers rooms that went mouldy, not the actual teenagers.
Having said that, went they finally emerged stinking from the pit, it was sometimes hard to tell!
