At work we are having problems with rats, trouble is people leave food lying around and next door's yard is a mess. Today 2 were caught in traps so as a former owner of pet rats I have been teasing people about being murderers of innocent creatures. I even complained about the indignity of just leaving them and not covering them over out of respect. This afternoon I told them I was going into the canteen to 'say a few words' and cover them over. I didn't do either but when I went back into the office I said 'ok, their little rat souls are now on their way to heaven' thankfully everyone took it as the joke it was meant to be
