As from october, when you tax your car you won't receive a tax disc to put on your windscreen.

It's about time we stopped sticking things on the screen that reduce your view of the pavement and gutter. They should ban sticking residents' parking permits there, as well. In fact, they should ban sticking anything to the windscreen that impedes vision.

True. You will have to register your car to pay your tax. You can do it online, at a post office or by phone. If you don't, then you may be liable to a £1000 fine. I would advise people to have a look.simply type in new tax disc rules.
