Me too. Told the Kingsway CC I wasn't going to be able to make it this week as I'm taking the missus out for Sunday lunch..... Cue one monsoon at the very time they ride out on a Sunday morning.

With doing a manual job and commuting, 13 miles a day 4 days a week, I find that after 3 Sundays out cycling in a row I'm starting to get tired, I'll be 63 in a few months, so it makes sense to pick the 4th Sunday as a rest day, it also gives me some extra time to spend with my good Lady. This is the second time my rest Sunday has coincided with a bad Sunday with the weather.

When I came to a stop a few weeks ago and gracefully fell on my side I landed on my left hip and elbow, this wasn't a clipless moment though, I was riding my fixed with clips and straps. First fall since 2007
