my knees hurt
But what was it?Pigeon? Huh ! She wouldn't know one if it flew up her do-dah.
An hour of my life I'll never see again.
I once thought a pigeon had fallen down my chimley and ended up wondering when the smell of death would start to pervade my living room. What I think happened was that, during a spell of heavy rain, a bird was sheltering above and some bits of rubble fell. Maybe the bird had been spooked by the falling rubble, but all I know was the bird stopped billeting and cooing at the same time as the place started falling apart. But what was it?
Nothing. Well a couple of cobwebs with spiders and various bits of rubble. She probably heard one sitting on the chimney pot and naturally jumped to the understandable conclusion that a whole herd of them were breaking in and were waiting to peck her to death while she slept. (I wish)
Doug the old Pug still looking good.It is a Performance 3000 from the mid '90s apparently. Beautiful metallic cherry red.
I've never quite decided if that light looks ok on it or not, but at least its colour coordinated! The orange cycle clips just happen to be hanging on it at the moment.
