Today my car mileometer registered 77777.
Could have been worse. Could have been 666

That's just what I was thinking. Glad I didn't notice 66666.

It took my mind off the Royal Mail artic who half an hour earlier had thought it clever to drive 10' behind my rear bumper in the roadworks J31 to J28 ... for about three miles.

I am now precisely 1 hour 37 minutes into a 12 hour fast before going for hospital blood tests tomorrow. I am not trusted in this house. Mrs Donger appears to have hidden the custard creams.

How do you know that...unless you went looking for them, in which case Mrs Donger was right to hide them

I have no memory of ever being small. This photo seems to confirm that I never was ......(I'm the one discovering that they didn't do size XXL dalek suits for 5 year olds back in the days of black and white. The shorter one is my older brother.):

It still surprises me how much later you've gone into spring over there. Our daffs are just about all dead and it's bluebells now.
