Scythe in hand, grass to cut! That's the trouble with living inside the Arctic Circle. Easier to keep food fresh though.

Ian,
I use the LBS because they turn the bike around very quickly, and because I have a naff shoulder, it's easier for them to sort than me (I'll do most things to avoid more pain). Plus it's still under warranty.
Knew I had to buy lube anyway, so bought basic oil and some white lightening, so that'll keep me going.
The saddle angle I tried to sort on Friday night, and no matter what I did, I couldn't undo the bolt, so gave up. They did it and the chain all while I was gassing.
2 37s topped and tailed 2 flasks this afternoon, this evening 2 20s double headed 1 flask.(Calls Hover fly) Two DRS class 37s.
I am led to believe they are full going towards Sellafield, empty heading towards the "mainland".

A small point, every so often someone writes to the local rag or somewhere questioning why 40-50 year-old engines are on such a critical train, which is followed by the use of more modern power for a few weeks then eventually they filter off to the more lucrative trains such as Tescos again, leaving nuclear trains to be hauled by the old and presumed unreliable motive power again.
Well the Stones have a combined age of 284 and they're still rolling! It's a bit backwards isn't it. I mean, as demonstrated by my good self and others, getting to 40-50 years old proves you must be reliable to last that long, although it may be that I, like them, am closer to the end than the beginning...
