Might tell you one day!

£100 note not being accepted. And non of the shops will take it. They think its a fake.

Both the £1and £100 are not tender outside Scotland though. The highest you Englanders can go is a £50 note........ Pathetic!!

Also, apparently when you take out/cash a £100 note, the details are noted so they can keep tabs on them all as as well as the value, they aren't exactly usual.

I have never actually had one before, although I've seen them every so often.... If fact I've seen more '100s' than '50s' in my time, which I'm not quite sure says about me!!

English notes are at least legal in England and Wales. Scottish ones are not even legal in Scotland!
Due to them being issued by private banks.

Not even in Scotland? Is this all part of that devolution ?
Scottish and Northern Ireland Banknotes - Frequently Asked Questions
Q3. Are Scottish & Northern Ireland banknotes "legal tender"?

A. In short ‘No’ these banknotes are not "legal tender";

Maybe technically, but you can still use a £5, £10, £20 and probably £50 in places down south (it is now illegal/against some sort of rule to refuse these notes from Scotland/N.I./IOM/Channel Islands now apparently - They had to make a new law about 10 years ago now).

You can't use a £1 and '100, full stop though.

If you were to believe the doom and gloom merchants on here about Independence, that might just become a reality in the event of a Yes vote

Devolution is staying in the Union and *supposedly* getting more powers (yeah right!).

So who will run Scotland then? Will it be like the Irish "Free" State , or will the Scots get their own monarchy so they can get tourists too?

Who to restore, the Bruces' or the Stewarts'??..... Hmmmm. Seriously though, it would be run from Edinburgh, and be like Ireland and most other countries.

As for the Royals, I imagine we would still be in the Commonwealth unless we refuse, so I guess we will be stuck with the idiots.

By the way, we have already had Devolution for about 15 years, but the options are the so called 'Devo Max' which would give us maximum autonomy, or out and out Independence.

Edinburgh looks like a lovely place to run a country from.

Its nice and is just as good a place as any. We already have The Scottish Parliament, which is really where the current Devolution Puppet Government ultimately run from London resides, so its all there, simply awaiting its time in history.....
