No problems with leaks, except when I had the radiator off the wall whilst decorating, the thermostatic valve was dribbling and none of the dust caps I had would fit, its a smaller size, I had to use a drip tray and refill the system when I'd finished. Those vents are common in houses and they just let fresh air in, the vent in the picture was one I found in the shed, the original was missing.

we have to fit vents in bedrooms etc in the house we are building now
we are having copper pipes where the plumbing is visible and plastic where it is hidden but all outside the walls as in our current house it is all in the hollow walls and we had a leak and we had to remove loads of panels etc to find it and fix it!

I have been up all night drinking Whisky, Tallisker if you must know @vernon, and now I need to get to bed, but really, its already 7, so I feel I should get up otherwise I'll sleep until late afternoon/early evening, therefore wasting yet another day.

Maybe I should just set the alarm for about 1 and sleep off the difference tonight instead... Oh hardship!

Oh and Asda were selling retractable leads for £5 each on their reduced shelf - a good make too (the German ones, the maker's name eludes me currently) . So, I bought 2 (admittedly there were only 2 on sale), because quite frankly, you can never have enough of them in various different locations, especially as my Sister can never find one (more down to her being monumentally untidy, but anyway).

UPDATE: Flexi, that's the name of the make.

Also, regarding Whiskies, I prefer the Peaty ones, so Tallisker isn't a million miles away from them!
